I work part-time for Senator On-Line, a party founded to allow Australian citizens a direct voice in politics. As the party’s main employee, my duties include developing and implementing both long and short term plans; website development and maintenance (using Dreamweaver, the Drupal content management system and MySQL); developing professional documents and publicity materials; and maintaining correspondence with supporters, groups and other parties.

I teach the information technology courses for the Global Assessment Certificate (GAC) program that prepares non-native English speakers for international university studies. As well as developing skills for success in university studies, the program prepares students to take the ACT, IELTS and TOEFL tests. Thus, I have also taught units on IELTS and the ACT test (specifically writing, reading and English). My teaching responsibilities include lesson planning, grading and providing feedback on homework and written and oral tests, keeping attendance and proctoring entrance exams and of course teaching lessons. Additionally, I have provided some assistance for students during the university application process (teaching units on reference letters and personal statements).
